iPHONE 6 RUMORS : RELEASING IN AUGUST

The reporters from Taiwan advocates that the iPhone 6 will release in next few months. According to the rumors Apple Inc. will announce iPhone 6 on early August and couple of weeks later it will be released to the market.

The iPhone 6 is expected to be a major update to the Apple smart phone industry since there will be some huge changes like screen size. Rumor has that there will be 2 versions of the iPhone 6 (not like normal and ‘S’ version as before) with 2 different screen sizes. One will be 4.7 inch and the other 5.5 inch or 5.6 inch. If there are 2 versions as mentioned the first release on August will be 4.7 inch one and the 5.5 inch or 5.6 inch iPhone will follow. According to some informers people in the supply chain have already confirmed about these 2 screen sizes release.

However this will help Apple to regain the smart phone market. Furthermore Economic Daily News said 80 million iPhone 6 handsets would be produced this year.

Another interested thing would be that the Apple iPhone 6 will likely ship with the next iteration of iOS (iOS 8), which Apple will unveil at its WWDC conference in June of this year. iOS 8 will carry different kinds of new features with several modifications along with bunch of apps.

Despite of everything a bit disappointment fact would be the price. It won’t be cheap obviously but it also won’t be high. It will be the highest when it released. Apple Inc. will keep their normal pricing methods as the iPhone 5S to this phone also.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 RUMORS: COULD BE MODELS GT-I9500 AND GT-I9505

While 2012 is still winding down, many of us tech junkies can't help but look forward to what 2013 will bring. Samsung is slated to make some splashes next year, and it looks like the electronics manufacturer may have already started testing its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, according to a new report.

Reliable website SamMobile seems to have received an early tip off from an unnamed source that Samsung is testing new handsets with the model numbers GT-I9500 and GT-I9505. The latter is believed to be the LTE version.

Samsung devices GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 are believed to be the company's flagship Tizen smartphone or Android handset. Tizen is an operating system based off Linux, but there's also a chance that Samsung chose to skip product code GT-I9400 (the Galaxy S3 was GT-I9300) since the number 4 is bad luck in Korea. Samsung has apparently never used the number 4 as a product code, so there's a chance that GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 are actually Galaxy S4 variants.

'THE HOBBIT' HOLDS NO. 1 SPOT, 'JACK REACHER' AND 'THIS IS 40' DISAPPOINT

Despite a record-breaking opening, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" experienced a significant 57% drop off in its second week, bringing in an estimated $36.7 million, with an $8,952 per screen average. This brings "The Hobbit's" ten-day gross to $149.9 million, tracking about 8% behind "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King's" ten-day gross.

Paramount's "Jack Reacher" (Cinema Score: A-) opened this past weekend in second place with a modest $15.6 million. Based on the popular Lee Child-created character, the Tom Cruise action flick has been somewhat of a box office wild card and will have to struggle to maintain momentum to make up the costs for the $60 million production.

The weekend prior to the Christmas holiday isn't usually the strongest at the box office, but last year Cruise's "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" opened wide on December 21 at $29.6 million. As many have already mentioned, "Jack Reacher" fans are perhaps put off by the casting, since the character is supposed to be physically imposing at 6'5″.

How much would you pay to contact a stranger? Facebook is sprucing up its messaging system, and the most interesting change is a move to charge people to send a message to someone outside their network.

Most important messages go straight to your inbox on Facebook. But there's a second class of messages, including potential spam and notes from people not in your network, that the site's algorithms deem "less relevant."

100,000 APPS WILL BE AVAILABLE BY FEBRUARY: MICROSOFT SAYS

Windows 8 is less than three weeks away from its release date and still they don’t have enough apps for their operating system. By the end of last week they only had 2000 apps in Microsoft's Windows Store. Some says that they won’t be able to reach 3000 apps before launch date. But Microsoft's VP (Keith Lorizio) for sales and marketing says in an interview that the operating system would see over 100,000 apps by February, 2013. He also says over 400 million people will be using Win 8 by July, 2013.

"We know that we have to have a very healthy ecosystem of apps, and we're putting millions of dollars against the effort and working with publishers in order to get their apps live as quickly as possible", Lorizio said. Win 8 OS will be available on tablets, phones, laptops/ultrabooks and hybrids. "Not just across the PC, but across mobile, across Xbox, and across the phone" Lorizio said.

The Windows store apps will include paid advertisements according to the Lorizio. And he states that this won’t be a disturbance for users. Instead, he claims that although every advertisement will be integrated, from his own words they will be "beautiful, relevant and useful".

Windows 8 launches on Oct. 26. Microsoft is holding an event to "celebrate" Windows 8 on Oct. 25, launching its first Windows 8 product a midnight.

2013 AUDI S8 REVIEW

The new Audi S8 2013 is one of the best looking sedans with impressive performance. It’s just like the Porsche Panamera Turbo and upcoming BMW M5. The car has the same aluminum chassis and suspension as the Audi A8, and weight about 4400 pounds a little bit heavier than the Jaguar XJ Supersport but 600 or so pounds lighter than the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. You can say Audi S8 is mainly targeted to the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.

The S8 was powered by a high-revving, naturally aspirated, 5.2-liter V-10, and an engine that seemed somewhat out of place in a luxury sedan. This one is pushed by a 4.0-liter V-8 force-fed by two IHI turbochargers.  The car has 520 hp and great torque:  479 ib-ft, available from 1700 to 5500 rpm, compared with the previous model’s 450hp and 398lb-ft. Audi says S8 will reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, which is quite impressive and only about half a second slower than the Panamera Turbo and a few tenths behind the smaller Cadillac CTS-V. 155 mph is the top speed you can gain. And the packaging of the engine is remarkable, nearly flat oil pan all the way up to the cylinder deactivating camshafts that turn it from a V8 to a V4 to get better fuel mileage.

Talking about the driving Audi Drive Select allows you to choose auto or dynamic modes when adjusting the chassis and powertrain. The system fill configure shift speed, spring and damper settings, steering weight and many more according to your choice. These Drive Select components can also be adjusted individually. The air suspension at all four corners automatically lowers the ride at speed for maximum aerodynamic performance and those air bags keep the ride comfortable at up to the S8's 155-mph top speed.

Going to the inside of the sedan it has diamond cross-stitched leather covers the 22-way-adjustable front seats. It has power-adjustable seats with three-stage heating, individual climate control, power blinds and headrests with adjustable side bolsters. Doors and console can be had in either wood or carbon fiber. S8 also has voice activated web researches with Google Earth 3-D graphics. Further the S8 is a rolling WiFi hotspot.

Audi S8 engine head Jurgen Konigstedt said, “It is the most powerful sedan in our history.”  As he said this is one of the most luxuries cars and you should go for it.  Audi S8 is now available in the market for $110,895.

DISHONORED - ACTION ADVENTURE GAME RELEASED OFFICIALLY

Looking for an action adventure game where you can take most of decisions by yourself? Well Dishonored is the perfect game for you. Released today, 9th October 2012. The game designed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It’s a first-person action game that directs you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge.

The game is about a story of a person called Corvo Attano, who had sworn to protect Empress Jessamine Kaldwin and the Empress’ daughter Emily. The game background is set in an alternate universe where steam-punk style technology is powered by whale oil and the player character has access to supernatural powers. This may sound little bit weird when you read it. But it will make sense by the second you are in the game. The player has supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at his or her clearance.

The story of Corvo runs parallel with the story of Dunwall itself, which is a simple whaling-town that has become infected with the plague. The imagery of Dishonored is incredible. By playing the game you will feel a connection between Dunwall the town and Corvo himself. They both have poisoned lives. Of course you guys can think of your own story about Corvo and Dunwall.

The most interesting fact about this game is that you can take your own decisions better than other games. Game-play is entirely up to you. You will be surprised if I say that you can finish the entire game without killing anyone. It depends on the decisions you take while you are playing. You can mix-up the gameplay and give the game a faster pace by ignoring the stealth mechanic and taking your enemies out with brute-force. Or if you prefer, you can carefully stalk down your target with an array of skills and tricks. But remember more dead bodies means more rats and more guards, and a darker overall conclusion.

The story of the game is better compare to the other games. Dishonored will be a great experience for you and I recommend playing the game on PC. The reason for that is both Xbox 360 and PS3 have little frame rate issues and a little tearing while PC has a better looking visuals. Other than that game is perfectly designed. Try and enjoy the game.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE II

Today we are going to talk about a well featured smart phone, Samsung Galaxy Note II. This has still not been released in U.S. but fortunately few consumers in other regions such as the U.K have already seen the release of the Galaxy Note II. However I must say it’s an impressive piece of work indeed. It’s bigger and more “finished” than the first Note.

The features of this phone are very sharp. If the Galaxy Note was big, the Note 2 is bigger. It has a 5.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 compared to iPhone 5’s 4 inch, and Galaxy Note’s 5.3 inch.

It is the first quad-core phone, with 1.6 ghz Exynos processor and 2 GB of RAM, Which means that the phone is amazingly fast. I may not be surprise if it beats the dual core Apple A6 processor. There’s 16GB of internal storage and you can boost it up by another 64GB. It runs Jelly Bean and is the first handset pre loaded with it to arrive on the market.

The battery gives 12 hours of talk time and needed thanks to the larger display and LTE. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has an 8MP rear camera with 1080p@30fps video quality and a 1.9MP front camera.

Talking about the physical appearance the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looks a lot like the Galaxy S3 with rounded corners, thin bezel and a huge screen. It has a home button in the centre and touch buttons along the sides. One button is for the menu and the other is a back button.

Overall it’s a great phone and although it has not been released yet in some countries, it’s very popular. The size might send some into the smaller arms of the S3, but the truth is that the Note 2 is a bigger, more feature-packed and faster Galaxy S3.

The T20 Cricket World Cup champions are West Indies. They beat Sri Lanka by 36 runs. The finals held at Colombo, Sri Lanka. The score board is as follows.

This is a huge victory for West Indies and it was the West Indies' first success in an International Cricket Council tournament since a long-forgotten and equally unexpected Champions Trophy victory in 2004. Thirty years since West Indies last played a world cup final. Therefore this victory must be a great start for them.

Also this is definitely a big fall for Sri Lankans, especially for the captain Mahela Jayawardana. He has taken his team four times to the final of a major event in the past five years but end up being runners up.

Finally there is one interesting news. It’s Dwayne Bravo’s birthday today. So let us all wish him happy birthday and congratulations for whole team.

FRINGE SEASON 05 - THE FIFTH AND THE FINAL SEASON

If you are a fan of TV Series you should already know that the fifth and the final season of Fringe premiered on September 28, 2012. The show is produced by Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros and telecasting on Chanel Fox. A bit disappointing fact is that the show is officially announced for 13 episodes.

However this is one of my favorite TV series and if you are still not a fan you should watch this. First two episodes have already released and the third one is on its way.

The 3rd episode, "The Recordist," which will see the team continue to try to find a way to save the world and defeat the Observers, and it will take them to a group in the woods.

The team is now going to search for the tapes which Walter left. On their way they will step in to more and more troubles and it’s not easy to find those tapes as quickly as they thought. And the Observers are of course still on their tail and a big problem for them. The 3rd episode is going to be adventurous and you can see a part of that episode below.

So the quick review of the 1st episode is that Dean comes back and two brothers are back on business. Kevin, the prophet of the God has found another tablet which will tell the way to send all daemons on earth back to hell. Now three of them are running away from the king of hell Crowly.

Supernatural season 8 continues next week with episode 2, "What's Up, Tiger Mommy?" in which Sam and Dean will be heading to a very special auction in order to retrieve the tablet from where Kevin kept it. And what challenges will they face? What troubles are following them? Curious to know? Me too.
